Sexy Saturday

So I keep reading about sexy Saturday here… and I’ve been asked to get my picture up……

I’m not sure I have any sexy pictures that qualify… But I’ll do one of these posts Just this once.

Women say that there is nothing They like more than a guy in a suit.

I introduce to you the Bee’s Sexy Saturday series of photos.

Feel free to comment. Let me know what you think. What do you find sexy when it comes to men?

Short Thought….

I like to think I’m a modern gentleman when it comes to women.
I like to think I can pull of discreet glances at women I find attractive without making them feel awkward by wolf whistling and/or taking pictures. A common courtesy I think. I like to hold the door. Not just to be polite but so I watch you slip past and hope for that Come talk to me smile.

I don’t do these things because I think women are weak. On the contrary you women have more power than you know (or even let on that you know).
It’s because you fascinate me. Women can make or break a man. Fill us with confidence or break us. It’s just a question of finding the right ones…..

So Saturdays are meant to be Sexy… Looking at this blog series I can see that. My personal favourite is still the wonder woman outfit though. I will all ways be a comic book geek.
Be warned these posts are torture for single men everywhere.

Days like today…

They’re one in 365….

I have to admit the day started off bad…. I woke up to the realisation I had no job… I was back on unemployment and if things carried on like this I may not be able to go to uni in September.  I’m 26, Single, living in a situation that makes me unhappy and a real lack of close friends.

On the friends thing I have either offended or have just grown away from me. I’m not sure which it is to be honest, both seem plausible possibilities to me right now.

So I guess I felt sorry for myself. Well wouldn’t you?

So I got myself together and left the house. I wasn’t going to sit around and let myself feel like the bottom of the barrel all day. I was going to do something about it.

First stop Job centre. I’m poor right now. No bus pass, no money. The food i get is on tab from a local shop. So I walk. I put my headphones on, pack my C.V. in my bag and head off in the direction of that black hole, source of malaise and all around disturbing place.

I really don’t know what happened in that thirty minuet journey. It might have been the sunshine, it might have been the Incubus songs (switch-blade is my favourite right now click the name for the song.),  it simply could have been the fresh air whatever it was my mood lightened and I came up with this equation.

Life will get better. All I need is:

(Job/Time + Saving)= Uni
(Uni/Learning+New Friends/Experiences) / Future plans =  Hopeful

Made me smile

Now I don’t feel as bad. It will all happen. I just got to keep focused and busy.

Happy now…. I have a plan.

The Hunt…

It almost feels endless. Diving through adverts… Attending interviews, building experience, attending more interviews, filling out forms and repeating the cycles as many times as it takes.

I’m talking about job hunting. Finding a place where you can work and make an income. In this day and age it’s hard to do. People spend thousands and get into debt to gain an education then have trouble finding a place to use it. The flip side of this is there are people who get the experience and have the skills but lack the education so suffer because of a lack of a simple piece of paper.

I’d say from personal experience eight out of ten times its down to who you know with a little of what you know. Take my recent job opportunity.

Simple enough a bar job… bar tending is something I have plenty of experience in.
it’s not hard. All you really have to do is listen, pay attention and learn a few combinations. Of course there’s the people pleasing aspect to it.

Two shifts in and I’m flying. After two years away from behind a tap I’m falling into action like i was never away. It just so happens there’s another new starter with me. He’s French his English is so/so and his bar skills are lacking if I’m polite about it. Now this guy seems ok. He asks me for a few pointers and I’m happy to help. How to pour a pint of Guinness. What makes up a JagerBomb? Simple things that a first timer may not know. Everything is going well.

Fast forward to today. After receiving a call that the shifts were ready for the next week I see my manager. He politely informs me that he’s decided not to hire me. Now this is news to me, only the other night we was sitting down filling out employment papers, he’s patting me on the back and telling me he can see promotions coming up for me and I’d make a great manager. Now this.
I ask him why he has a simple answer… “I feel your too bossy” Again this is news to me. Not once did I give an order, ask someone to do something or in any way push myself into control of a situation.

Then it hits me. I remember my manager talking about making a mistake having two trial shifts at the same time on my first night. Also the last shift where French guy and Mr Manager were too close for people that have supposedly just met, talking about common friends. Lastly the fact Frenchy was looking for full time work and there were only enough hours for two part timers or one full timer.

Looks like I’m on the job hunt again.

An article I’ve written that will be featured on SoTattooed Very Soon,

So I’ve been looking for something to write about this week and struggling. Between writing my script for an alternative group of friends in London and setting up future features/Blogs for this site about what’s going on in and around my home town. (Yes that’s London for those of you that don’t know)  I was at a loss. But then it hit me. What if I picked my favourite talent of the month from the UK?

This site is fast becoming a community of people that are not only linked by tattoos but other common interests as well. Of course our main focus is that beautiful body ink but there are so many sub cultures within our broad minded group why not highlight some of our other achievements.

So for your enjoyment, once a month I’m going to review something random and interesting going on or being produced from the UK and what better way to get things started than Asobitech (click for the facebook page).

Started By a friend of mine a little while ago he was designing computers and programs as a hobby. The Invincible Q as he shall be known has decided to set himself a huge new year’s challenge. He will produce one game per week that’s fun and enjoyable to play. This alone is no mere feat but the fact that he’s doing it alongside working full time and keeping up an active life is something to be admired.

(Above Invincible Q’s Ink)

The series is called 1up Games, and will see a new game released every week in the year of 2012.

That’s 52 free games for your Windows PC or OS X Mac. (53 if you count the first Christmas special that was released just as the idea was revealed.)

Everything is completely free via the Facebook page Asobitech (Click and like for more details.) Not only has he been sticking to his target so far this year, give or take a couple of hours, his games despite what little time he has spare are getting better by the week. Five weeks in to the year and there are now six files to choose from. Each game showcasing a different style of play and each has its own online score board that automatically updates your highest score.

From cooking up Sushi orders to detonating fireworks over the London skyline every game is different I suggest you try them all and choose your own favourite. Each game has a soundtrack that will leave you humming the tune after every play and the type of arcade feel that makes it great to come back to again and again.

Unlike most projects of this magnitude invincible Q loves hearing your feedback and even more values your suggestions. You never know your suggestion might just be used.

Keep your eyes on this project people. You can only expect great things from this London based developer. The best part is it wont cost you anything to play and leave him feedback.

So why are you still here?????
